My husband was so into fish he might as well have been a fishmonger. 'for the halibut,' was one of his favorites.'

I can't believe I've finally found someone who can outdo me on fish puns. I've often used "just for the halibut," and "shellfish" and various versions of "sole," but "inter-net prawn??" "Sharkastic?" "Riding off on her pike." I doff my hat to the fintastic job you did. On a scale of 1-10, I give this fish tail an 11. I guess that makes me a pretty finny gill myself - or maybe you've just got me hooked on these puns.

This story is the one I like most myself; I saved the best for last as it is the 50th, but now I have written a few more - so I just may launch into another series soon. Puns are addictive, as you have obviously noticed yourself in your own fondness for them.

Thank you so much for your wonderful review.
None of these 50-word stories has an easy birth; I have to think of an occupation that might provide fertile territory (some are too boring or i don't know enough about them) then it is a juggling job to try to make it fit the 50 word limit and still make sense, as well as being a bit funny or suggestive. It is keeping my brain agile writing them, but after doing 50 of them it might be time for a break.
