This is a beautiful poem with a nice, calming flow to it. I love the rhyming scheme and the font colour and matching picture colour st a very serene scene.

This is such a beautiful offering, Diana, but my eyes are now screaming at me for making them read it! (wink, wink) Please pop back in there and remove the 'bold' aspect of the words because it makes the words terribly hard to read, my friend! :) ;)
Now, the offering is so wonderfully relaxing and REALLY appeals to the girl in me that grew up in the country... well done, beautiful friend! ;) :) thanx for sharing that vision of the woods and creek and the pond where we used to fish! ;) Yvette

and stop to throw a stick or two;
I watch it float away downstream
like as a child I used to do.
I might possibly change 'like as a child' to 'just as a child' but it's a toss-up. Thank you for sharing!
