This sedoka, By the Grace of God, has the proper formatting and turns the well-known saying to its true sad meaning. But for the grace of God go I ... I go by.

Thanks for the insightful review. Exactly, in less than a year, it could be him walking by her, on his way home. Fate is fickle, cheers.

Is it really by the grace of God, that she walks by the homeless man, or is it by her own coldness and callousness that she does so? This is an ironic statement and not a statement of faith.

Thanks for the review. Not so much a statement of faith, but of luck. Within a year, she could be the one on the streets and he walking by heading home. Life is fickle. Cheers.

Hi, this is quite different. I can't work out who is having the grace of God :), or, entitled to it. I thought the man would, but then it has a twist and the lady seems to be the one that is fortunate.

I found this interesting and your artwork is a great choice for the poem.

Best of luck in the Sedoka competition, cheers, Eve.

Thanks for the review. Today she walks by the grace of God, but life is fickle. Next time it could be him walking by her, down on her luck.
    Cheers,
