Great chapter in this book! It was not too long, as I was very absorbed in the story. You make your characters so rich and likable. They are each very unique, which adds to the interesting reading. I can't wait for the next installment!

Hello Barb
he way you write is great. The way you described each move that Megan or Logan was nicely include in your scenes where the two of then are to together. I will be waiting to see what Mitch has to day. I hope it will be good info to help solve who the killer is?

Bill wants Mac off the case, but she's not budging. There have been a lot of crazy and dangerous things happening, but she definitely isn't going to quit. Again, it seems like the police are dragging their feet if they are still waiting for results about the car bomb that could have killed Bill. Mac needs some clues, but there seems to be a campaign to keep her from pursuing the case. Logan, at least, is beginning to realize that she needs to do this. Great story and characterization. judi

"McKenzie Joanne Morgan..."
"It won't change anything even though you used my full name," she interrupted.
--- This one caused a great chuckle!!! With my mother, 'the middle name' seemed to have great power?

Enjoyed another installment!

McKenzie sounds like the most committed of all, but after all, it was her sister. I think the dialogue sounds realistic. In the third to last paragraph, with this sentence: She's grown on me too.
I would insert a comma after me and before too.

We should have known Mac would not give up. Another excellent chapter.
You know I love your writing style. You and Ulla, Sally Law and my South Aussie friend Tony Fawcus are the reason I am glad someone helped me stay. One spag only. he quickly cut up [from](some) fruit and cheese.

Hi Barbara, this is getting better by the minute. The poor chap really has to speak to her. It's a really good scene where she cooks him some decent brunch. I loved it. All best. Ulla:)))

Things are getting decidedly dangerous for Mackenzie, and despite repeated warnings from her "Uncle" Bill, she's determined to see her commitment to solving the case of Logan's sister's murder fulfilling the contractual arrangement with Logan even though Logan wants let "off the hook" Well done Barbara, blessings, Roy
Typo: Mackenzie's hands her firmly on her hips?!?
