This is such a touching poem of this precious child. I'm so sorry for your loss, but appreciate that our horrific loss has inspired you to create a platform for bringing attention to the need for organ donors. I too lost a son, though he was older, and understand your pain the way another mother who has lost a child can. God bless you.

This is great, Ricky. Thomas the Tank Engine is a favourite and I must say the chocolate layer cake sounds delicious too.

Happy Burst Day is just how a youngster says it too. Your presentation and poem are terrific!

They had a little Mini 🧁 with green icing Party today.
    My three daughters..
Kyle Erin, Corrine Alexis, Nichole Megan, and Mommy.
    (Dana Alyse)
Kyle and Fred had their three children.
    (Sasha Aubrey, and Frederick)
Alex loves them all and gets along well with Aubrey.
They are only a couple weeks apart.
Born at the same hospital as Alex..
I didn't go cuz I spend three hours at several Churches.
    (I am a Priest)
With the Latter-Day Saint Church of Jesus Christ.
    (Mormons)
    ...
I wanted to go to the actual party tomorrow. And my daughter Dana said that she's having just a Carvel ice cream cake.
    ...
And, I'll give Alexander Herve Valle.
(He's part Czechoslovakian and part Portirican Puerto Rican)
    ...
I can give him his gifts.
    tommorow.
I got an Xbox Gift Card because he got an Xbox l for Christmas.
And, I'm got him two $25 rolls of Ulysses S. Grant's uncirculated 65+ Gold dollars.
And, some little things that he would enjoy.
    Thanks,

This is WONDERFUL. Your notes about the meaning make the passage powerful and meaningful and touching. Anyone who has loved and lost and carried the burden and blessing of parenthood can't possibly read this without tremendous emotion. Well done.

17 hours I spent in the hospital with Jason I couldn't stay in the room and I had to come back how to stop crying.
And I'm supposed to be the man of the family.
After we were ready to leave, I couldn't leave him.
And, they moved him to a room to start taking vials of blood.
    ...
(They say even in a coma they can still see a little bit and hear)
And, he was in a Deep coma.
Later back home we heard say they couldn't believe we only gave him Seventeen hours.
    But they didn't realize Brain-dead is Brain-Dead!
And, that means he will never ever again lead any kind of normal life. Sadly enough a vegetable.
And, I would not have that for my son.
Seventeen hours of watching him suffer with my wife and four daughter's was enough.
    ...
Yes, I went back in that room and the technician stopped drawing blood while I said these words to Jason.
'I know you knew this was to happen and your father above told you.'
'And, your purpose in life with to live only Eighteen years and donate your organs.
    'To save *Lives.'
    ...
    Seventeen years later?
Three out of the four are still healthy, off Anti-rejection meds, and happy with their existence.
    Editor's Notes:
    *Lives: n.
living beings, human, people we loved.
The Reason for this is not only does two newspaper article show he knew.
A picture tak r n only twenty minutes before the accident.
    At Nikki's birthday party.
    ...
Showing Jason sitting with Sachi was only 4 years old in his lap in our arms spread out showing me sign of a cross and angel wings and him trying to find my heart with his hands which is his epitaph.
Or that heart and lung still beats in a man's chest from Philadelphia named Chaz.
You couldn't even walk a hundred yards on the oxygen without collapsing!
And now runs a 7K race and bicycles twice a year and Jason's name!
    ...
When he was in sixth grade for his birthday at bottom of Pearl drum set.
(My wife cursed me!) But he did the concerts and became a percussionist.
That means he plays all the instruments associated like the keyboards, cow bell, triangle, and a couple other small devices.
    ...
He started his own band and was cutting his CDs.
    And, he called them...
    "Jason's hot s***!"
And, selling them at Southern Regional high School for a dollar a piece.
    ...
his favorite artist was Bryan Adams and his favorite song was...
    "The Summer of 69"
Where Brian talks about growing up and starting a band.
    I gave a guy from a bar (a biker)
With a long beard a ride in my New 2993 Corvette.
I told him the story put put that Hot Shit disc in and he started crying!
    ...
And by the way the name of his band?
    "FOUR WAYS TO SAVE!"
    Thanks!
From my Kid and Grandkid to you!
    Ricky

The only errors I see are that you put an I before Striking Eyes of Azure blue and misspelled God in one of the stanzas, otherwise great poem! God bless you In Jesus's Almighty, All Powerful, Divine, Holy, Majestic Name, The Name Above All Names I pray, amen, Amen, AMEN!

What a beautiful poem! This must be about one of your little grandchildren -- I am so blessed to know that God has graced you with a grandson, so precious. That adorable boy in the photo, has to be Alex, except the boy in the photo looks blond?
"Happy Burst Day to Alex!" -- that is so cute.
My husband and I are also fans of Thomas the Tank -- one of the best children's cartoons out there, and written by a minister.
Great work, Doc Ricky!

    Thanks Mary.
Not a picture was the artist name to cute picture though.
I'll try and do one on his birthday tomorrow and load it up.
when it comes to pixels and presenting on fanstory my own personal work it's hot and cold.
