This is such an enjoyable read. It is something that I would definitely show to people because of how easy it is to read and understand while still portraying a very important and powerful message. I look forward to reading more of your works and seeing what other sorts of things you come up with.

marriage is a blessing. happiness and displeasing comes with the strife. gods grace,gods blessing,and gods strife is held hand in hand together in a marriage. your poem was a blessing and pleasure to read. thanks for the read. "your so vein" means mood or humor.

I love you work always, but this piece meant alot to me and was very emotional because what some see as a submissive wife I also view as liberated. So, thanks for sharing this.

Some of my friends think I'm old fashioned but I am submissive to my husband. It's just like the head leading the body. If you have two heads, it doesn't work. Marriage is about love and selflessness. I enjoyed your new (old) take on women's liberation.

I think any union keeps their own counsel and what works for one couple does not work for another. I was never a submissive wife and my husband and I shared an equal relationship where we both had an equal say in how we ran the household, I liked to read your version of events here, love Dolly x

This is a simply rhymed group of abcb quatrains which do describe
a happy well adjusted marriage as your notes say. As long as you and your family has had a happy existance than you followed the right path no matter what others say.

Very good. There are two schools I suppose - the one which sees the partners each as a whole existence and the other - which I think is more the case - of them being two halves, each seeking the other to make the whole, and in this latter case, yes, 'liberation' is teh right word - fulfillment too.
I respect your happiness - the effortless-looking things in life normally come about only because of great, and continuous, effort. I do not think you 'win' a happy life, you earn it.
I wish you well with your continued writing
