hi
well now I'm sad...geez, loved the piano though.
Your poem read well, moved well and made a clear and poignant point..
I really hope it's not you, because I have always like and enjoyed you and can't imagine that you would not have many friends out there in the world.

Your poem sounded as autobiographical as the final couplet indicates. I admired your rhythmic, rhymed quatrains and their evocative descriptions, which I think most women would agree with. Your "knife" simile and matching picture are very effective as well. Sighs- Joan

"Broken Doll".
Based on the award-winning poem by LR Knost.
A female activist and Rights movement for children.
...
I enjoy the artwork cuz I collect dolls.
It was also rich in Theme and Imagery.
...
It read well and Flowed well with no Grammar Issues.
...
Adjective and Objective Contents were both Excellent and Exceptional while Descriptive Measures aligned Perfectly.
Thanks Dawn,

Dawn,
What a beautifully penned piece of art. The presentation is outstanding. As I read, past memories came into play and tears down my eyes. You did an exceptional job in the penning of this poem. Thanks for sharing...all out of sixes / virtual six my friend....Blessings...Portia

I am sure you hear this all the time, but I wish I had a 6 to give you for this beautifully written poem. Your message is clear and the artwork you used to illustrated it is superb. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. It is definitely worthy of 6 stars to me.

This is beautifully written about a woman who is considered a trophy. One can be so hurt that they avoid any contact with anyone. Shy people are particularly vulnerable.

This is a good poem with an extended metaphor and declarations of belief combined. Here are my favorite lines: A woman isn't someone's wind-up toy.
We're equals,and deserving of respect
I would take the comma out after 'equals' there. Thanks for posting!

Wow! This one was written just for me I think. I was the broken doll for 42 years. I love this poem. I am going to save it so that I can read it once in a while. Thank you so much for sharing. I love the pic you shared as well. Where do you find these beautiful pics?

Oh, Dawn, I want to come and give you a cuddle. Your poem cut me to the core, it's so very sad. Your heart was broken and stripped bare and tossed away, what a terrible man to do that to someone he is supposed to love. You are such a lovely lady, always there for others, yet you are alone and sad. Your poem is written with so much emotion it's hard not to hurt along with you. I'm glad you have Prissy, my friend. Love you lots. Sandra xxxx
