So true and it's these changes that will lead us to what we're to become. This is a very well-written, thought-provoking poem. It makes the reader think back on their life, realize how much they've changed from what they used to be. Great job as always.

Yes, Misty, small changes do creep upon us unawares and unforeseen. Thanks so much for your comments.

This is a lovely poem, and the image you chose is absolutely outstanding. The reflection of the tree is stunning. I love Subtle nuances. This poem can be taken at face value, or taken as a metaphor for life. Either way it is superb.Beautiful work, as always.

It's funny when we pray for great change, it slowly dribbles. When we're happy right where we are, here comes massive change. This poem is wonderfully written, and I love the picture. I wish I had a six. Best of luck with your writing!

Have a great day, and God bless.

Yes, some changes are hardly noticeable, yet they do occur. Subtlety in nature teaches us that personal growth need not always be dramatic or outstanding, Some of the most important changes we undergo, as we mature, happen ever so slowly. Case in point, our children. One day they're irritating the living daylights out of you and then they make a decision one day that is actually wise and mature - and we wonder. Is that my kid? Lol

Good morning! I see you are up early scribing beautiful poetry. I love this white offering. It must be cold where you are. No snow here, but a cooler than normal day as change sweeps in. A lovely short verse for my start of the day.
Sending you my best today as always,
Sally xoxo
