Genuinely impactful and great rhyme and meter master as a bonus. It seems like it does not even matter whether or not you believe global warming. In any case, it is our solemn obligation to take care of our planet ahead of any so-called financial benefits. Well stated.

A very well-written poem/letter to your prime minister who seems to sell out his own people to someone who wants the country to fail so that they can be the heroes to save what is left.

Sell out is a good description. Thanks, Sandra.

Hi Craig, thanks for posting this. Glad to know you're alive and well. So many of us here are sending prayers and US firemen are there, too. We have our own political leaders who are more driven by greed than doing what's right. Hope Australia can have a united effort to understand how best to care for the environment. The US has swung the pendulum in how to understand wildfires and how to deal with them in the most natural manner.

Thanks, Helen.
I value the firefighters a whole lot more than the prayers, but people's support and understanding is always appreciated. I'm sure you know that Australia also sent firefighters in to help with the California wildfires. Unfortunately, the fire season is getting longer in both countries due to global warming, which makes it more difficult to share resources.
Our record on the environment here in Australia is abysmal, as is that of the US. Your President is no less a climate change ostrich and environmental terrorist than our own leader, as evidenced by his recent incomprehensible rant in which he promised to give everyone washing machines that use twice as much water, and his not-so-recent decision to appoint a coal lobbyist as the head of the EPA.
All that aside, good to hear from you, hope you are doing well :)

You seem to know more about our president than I do.
Take good care, Craig.

Well, if either of those statements is false in fact, I'm happy to be corrected, Helen.
