I had fun reading you free verse
and I smiled while reading about the gnomes that kept disappearing. Now I have one gnome that I keep indoors In the winter when there is snow. In the spring; out doors he goes to sit in my flower garden where the neighbors cat watch over him.

I really enjoyed reading your poem and imagining the gnomes antics. We have some out in our garden, only a few, but I bet they move sometimes too, like toy story haha.

It definitely sounds as though the neighborhood took this into their own hands and did away with the gnomes. Not a very neighborly thing to do, especially to a new neighbor who loved her gnomes. This is very well written, clear and concise. You found a great image to accompany your writing. Great job!

The gnomes are back so I'm not sure if it was the neighbors or maybe Nan just took them in for a cleaning. We may never know.
