First of all amazing illustration, the wolf is so majestic and powerful and I think it mirrors so well the content of this chapter. I rely like this expression:'watch the horizon eat the remaining sheen of the blessed sun." Lovely story about my favorite fantasy characters werewolf and woodland fairy. Thank you for sharing and good luck with the next chapter.

I can understand how she feels. Sometimes, it's so difficult to be caged in the expectations of others. Yes, I think most humans would have problems remembering when was the last time they felt truly happy. Yeah, she wouldn't indulge him if she didn't have to. Another awesome chapter! I am rooting for the lovebirds but their families seem very intrusive, it sounds like true forbidden love.

This was indeed an interesting new chapter Yvette. You managed to keep the suspense level high by introducing Celeste feelings towards Gregor and then throw in the fact that others are picking up his scent. Great job.

Hello Yvette. This is the first story I have ever read with werewolves and fairies. Hmmm On the other hand, I 'm not well trained in fantasy reading. The descriptions are great narratives.
I may have found a typo: "...the ones that try 'to' maintain our separation."

Tsk, tsk. Celeste is treading on very thin ground. Her euphoria is about to be challenged by her friends. They will only want to help her, but they are certain to only make it tougher. Fate has declared a mate for her and how can she refuse? She is going to have to fight no matter what choice she makes.
Excellent storytelling. You deserve another six.

I think this is shaping up to be a very interesting story.
The characters are clear, the scene well painted.
I look forward to reading more of this story.

Oh, Celeste is in trouble now... isn't she! Yvette, you certainly know how to spin a yarn! I love your stories so much! (I still want you to finish the other one... but you know that... I'm going to bug you forever! LOL) This one looks very promising in entertainment value. Monthly chapters eh? Make them long! None of this catering to the short attention span of the FS reader that doesn't want to read more than 500 words at a time. LOL

LOL!! Yes, I WILL get to Maggie and company this week (knock on wood, throw salt over my shoulder, cross my fingers, .... did I cover all my bases there???). I seriously am crawling out of a bit of a slump, but I have also set some serious goals for the new year, so 'Katy bar the door!!'... ;) ;) ;) Thanx so much for these stars... it's a good kick in the pants that says, 'you know what, blondie? you can write so get your butt in gear!" ..... THANK YOU!! ;) Yvette

Oh, You're very welcome! And I'm so glad you haven't given up on Maggie and the gang! Just letting her stand there in her first few minutes in a strange house that she now owns, full of strangers that get to stay there. Hmmm....

OMG! First the shed, and now the fairies and werewolves! Am I going to survive this feast of luxurious reading? I fell straight back into this chapter, it's wonderful. I like Gregor, and I hope Celeste can work out something to be with him. But it looks like her best friend Joaquim is going to be a fly in the ointment. What will he have to say? Will he threaten to expose her? She really must change out of her outside clothes when she gets back. Well done, Yvette, sorry I've no sixes lest. Excellent! :)) Sandra xxx

LOL! Yeah, the blonde is looking to get the mojo going... just wish it wasn't so &^%$#@ cold outside! My 'sunny time' is my battery recharge and there aint much of it in the South this time of year... and when the sun is out (like today - the first day since freaking Tuesday!!) it's 40 degreees with a 'feels like' temp of near 30... because of the North wind of 10-15mph!! Aaaack!! ;) :)
But I'm so glad you enjoyed, my friend -- it feels good to 'get my prose on' again... ;) :)

I haven't read any fantasy since I was a child, but I was drawn to this by the heading about a fairy. It was so good! I could see this on a stage for some reason. The angst of Celeste eventually having to make her choice comes through loud and clear. Your story captures the imagination while at the same time, feels very real and possible.

I like the intermingling of interesting characters dear Yvette, your take on those intriguing characters and their individual propensities for unpredictable outcomes, or alternatively that interplay of personalities at which you're very good at either the outcome of these things, but on the other hand, perhaps it's a fluid plot, but great development, you're a good writer Yvette, well done, blessings, Roy
