It was a good and sad poem I liked the rhymes that you placed it in. It was a nice smooth read. I am sorry about your grandma we all lose loved ones in our life but the best thing to do is write about them and live life to its fullest, good job and good luck with the contest.

This is a sweet little ekphrastic poem that also seems to have a basis in reality. I like the rhyme scheme, and congrats on 'miss her' and 'picture.' Very good entry!

Oh, this is so sweet--the poem and the picture. Conveying the memories
of simple, good times with Grandma from the viewpoint of a child is moving--very effective.

AAAWWW nicely done for the art contest, indeed she is very talented. Great rhyme and easy to read, short but all so true when it comes to grandmas. Good luck

I enjoyed your contest entry, Jen. Good job with the prompt. Your lines read well with good rhymes. You paint a great picture of Grandma as seen though the eyes of a child--I like that POV. Thanks for sharing and best wishes. Respectfully with Love and Admiration, Jan.

I do like Linda Bickston's art. We all need loving grandmas. I didn't have one. One was standoffish and the other died when my mom was a teenager. The image is of a loving woman who appreciates her family and I'm sure, from your nice poem, it was reciprocal. Best of luck in the contest. Marilyn
