I must admit all the animals we've owned have been classified as "members" of our family, but they still held a position slightly below human relationship, it's just that they were assured, generally speaking, of life long membership, (although some humans were granted unearned status) beautifully written my friend, a smoothly flowing abcb rhymed entry in this contest. Haha that was a fun read! It makes perfect sense as well as it happens quite often. You like a person so much you practically adore them and yet there is something else in their life close to them that just weirds you out! Good read! Best wishes for the competition :-)
