Hello Barbara, a fabulous Friday to you. Thank you for another exciting chapter to your wonderful novel. While Mac and Logan are getting closer to each other, they also seem to be getting closer to solving this mystery. Can't wait to see how this plays out. Good job and have a great day!

I don't know enough about the story to comment on it, but the dialogue here seems lively and there is an appropriate underlying tension to it all that keeps you watching out for something to happen at any moment, either through crime or romance. It's an interesting juggling of those two classic partners. There's enough mystery and murder and romance in the air to keep one wondering how this might turn out, and you have plenty of open avenues to keep everyone guessing. Murder mystery is not really my thing; although I read the Brains Benton mysteries as a kid and am a bit partial to Dorothy Sayers and her Peter Whimsey tales in that regard. estory

Thank you for the kind review. This is more of a romance than a mystery, but I don't go for boy meets girl and they jump into bed. I want a story to go with it.

I was not notified of this. Glad I searched your portfolio. This was verrrry dramatic and believable even in fiction. That Sidney guy has got to be the problem in more ways than one. Can see Mac and Logan getting to that point of a relationship real soon. Keep up the good work. STILL HAD SIXES! YAY! I got home from my Head op (skin cancer) a while ago.

Ummmmmm... definitely heating up. LOL. You left this reader pondering the question Logan is pondering...

I don't know howto say it in a way you haven't heard me say it already, Barbara. This book is playing in my head like I'm watching a movie. Writing doesn't get much better than that, IMO. :)))

This is the first time I have read your work and as this chapter comes with a lot of backstory that I'm not aware of this was out of context for me.
Yet, your expressions and dialogues were interesting. When I have time I'll be sure to read back. Cheers

Another good chapter in this ongoing saga. I like the way you have used humour about the scanty nightdress to lighten the tone. I reckon Logan will have to tread carefully with his suggestions, else this relationship might be taking one or two steps backwards! LOL

With McKenzie it's one step forward and twenty backwards. LOL . Thank you for the review.

This is great. You keep the relationship between Mac and Logan going, and I enjoy the bits of humor you add, such as about how Mac's dressed. Parks seems to be drawing their attention as a suspect, and Mac shows Mitch their information on Parks. Mitch may be a trusted friend, but I'm beginning to wonder about him. Is he really concerned about her safety or worried about what she may find out? Maybe I'm reaching here, but it's fun to speculate. judi

It is fun to speculate. When I was writing this novel, I speculated too. LOL . Thank you for the kind review.

Hi Barbara, I look so forward to seeing what's up in Mackenzie's world! I do love this story... I really do wish the posts were longer though, just when I'm starting to read... I have to stop. LOL Ahhh, well... we're all very Dickensian here. :)

Barbara,

Nice job. I like the fact that Logan is at least admitting that her near-naked body is affecting him. hahahaha I think, before, he was even relutant to offer that much!

Nice job on this one and I enjoyed the whole thing. Very well done!

Hello Barb,
I noticed last week and also there is a Mitch, in your story and I cannot find him in you list of chacters.
What I like about your writings is how you describe what your chacters are doing, (here is good example)
Logan reached over, grabbed an afghan, and covered McKenzie. If we're going to continue these late night rendezvous, she needs to wear more night clothes. How do I approach that with her?

I just checked my character list. Mitch is listed right after Donnie. Thank you for the kind review.
