How can I win the contest when you just won the contest? I haven't a chance now. Crap. I hate it when that happens. But losing to you makes it bearable. Stellar entry for the contest. Easy to read, too. A winner here!! Love the vintage Valentine art. Really, I love everything about this.
Sending you my best today as always, and best wishes for the contest,

I think this is a good entry for the Valentine Poem contest.
This short verse tells of sending love written in gold.
Well done and I wish you luck with the contest.

Okay, so here, we gotta get headphones.... never a McCartney fan not with the Beatles (except maybe Yellow Submarine and Lucy in the Sky...lol!!) and not solo! ;) ;)
A wonderful Valentine offering, my lady, that takes the idea of Valentine and dresses it in its finest (gold) emotion and whispers to a lover's soul... :) :) Thanx for sharing and best of luck! ;) Yvette

Ha! Me either! Just loved this song and Natalie and Johnny signing the song. Loved me some John and Ringo favors my own father a lot. The day John was killed was as sad as I remember Pres. Kennedy?s death :(.
John fan too?

Diane,
You created a lovely letter to your Valentine. Your selected cartoon artwork is a great companion to your contest entry.
As previously mentioned, I am NOT a fan of italic script font for any verse, including romantic ones. IMHO ornate penmanship may be reserved for love letters, but not for the printed text. Methinks it detracts from its readability of likely many FS viewers.

Ok I?ll change that as it looks different on my phone than on my computer at work. Thanks Mark!

Diana,
I prefer your changed version! I use iPad and iPhone so both have different looks in landscape or portrait views. I rarely use my desktop any longer.

A very warm and emotive valentine tribute to a loved soul. Very creative graphics used to pull the reader into the flow immediately and with a sense of honest conviction as the words flow across the lips.
