I liked the imagery of obscurity that comes with the fog over a future we are not given to know. The imagery is of course created by such other devices as alliteration and various rhythmic tricks that embrace and discard metre.
The result is that the poem 'sings' and so much of what is called free verse fails in this respect.

Thank you for taking the time to review my poem. I'm glad that you got the woods imagery. The 'singing' is an interesting quality
I will try to achieve in my free verse! I like that term. I appreciate your thorough review and encouragement!
