Hello Tina. I like how your poem discusses the questions of the future from different perspectives. Your last sentence completes the statement. Well done.

This free verse, Foggy Future, creates a scene that is shrouded in the mist of certainty. Only action turns the unknown into reality. Guided steps help traverse the opaque fog and avoid the traps which may be there.

Well spoken with this poem. The future is God's to plan - I like that phrase and it's so true. To trust God in all life's events can be hard, but I'm so thankful God's got it all figured out.
Good job.

You are so right! It is hard to give Him control... but He has it figured out! Thank you for the encouraging words and review!

I liked it. A strong narrative voice meanders through these philosophical questions of fate and faith; you had some good personality in that voice and that made the piece, in my opinion. There was emotion in it, and that made it convincing. I think you also had a good feel for the dramatic rhythms of the piece, the juxtaposition of long and short lines for dramatic effect, and that helped it too. In the end, we are like leaves on the wind of the Spirit...estory

"Foggy Future", is an extremely well-written and spiritually-uplifting piece
It was a pleasure to both read and review this talented poet's work. To me, this is six, but unfortunately I've run out of them. I look forward to seeing your next post.

Well, this one certainly gave me a lot to think about. I'm always in a quandary about what is God's will and what is free choice. But foggy distance and murky fate so often fall into play. I can only trust that God is in control and knows better than I do.

I take baby steps in one direction and ask God to shut doors if I am wrong, lol. It is hard to know His will. Thank you for your thoughts on this.
All the best to you,
Tina

A very good poem. Worry never solved anything. It's wasted energy to fret over things we have no control over. Your poem is interesting on many levels. Only God knows the outcome. Marilyn

This piece really sums it up beautifully! We can not control our circumstances. Nor can we predict the future. All we can do is live each day to the fullest with high aspirations - and those that fit in with God's plan will be fulfilled. I really enjoyed the wisdom expressed here. I choose faith over fear.

This is beautifully written and message is profound. With faith in place, we need not know the exact future to know we have an eternal one with God. I believe this should allow us to live each day as fully possible knowing God has our back for tomorrow. :) xoxo
