This is a lovely and heart-felt tribute to Phyllis. Although I'd only known her a short time, I found all the same attributes in her character that you did - intelligence, wit, and helpful, positive reviews. How sad to lose her from the FS community.

Hi Helen. This is quite a blow to lose our beloved Fanstory friend. Phyllis was one of the mainstays of the site. She was always forthright and on target with her reviews, advice and comments. I called her the grammar guru. God bless her and her family.
A little typo here:
"Then she gave (remove gave) reviewed my posts and gave me such helpful advice."
Hugs,
Marilyn

This is such a wonderful tribute to Phyllis (it puts my humble contribution to shame, but at least I made the effort). Her presence on Fan Story was constant and she will be missed by many. Hugs, Lou

This is a beautiful and tear-jerking tribute to Phyllis. I'm glad that you included some verse, as some of the poems she posted the past few months were wonderful. And you didn't forget to mention "Bowl of Stew" which was enjoyed by all of us. It is amazing that she continued to write despite her growing health problems. That should be an example to us all not to let our problems get the best of us. Thanks for such a touching tribute. judi

RIP to our dear friend in pen. What a wonderfully heartfelt and genuine tribute contribution, dear. It made me wish I'd read more of her stories and stews. I did love her wit!
This is great. You might want to clean up spag--just two small nits:
*no period after the parenthesis, since there is an ! mark (At least, that's how it should be, I think?)
(and I don't like romance so it was amazing she kept my interest!).
*remove the first GAVE and keep the second one:
Then she gave reviewed my posts and gave me such helpful advice.
She was indeed helpful.
Thanks for posting this!
Hugs,

Your tribute to Phyllis is moving, well-written, and vividly descriptive,
using specific details--including poetry--to complete a rousing piece of praise in her talents, her versatility.

Thank you, dear Helen. What a beautiful tribute. I didn't know her as well as you and many others but I was still able to appreciate and love many things about her. You did a great job of revealing the heart of Phyllis. Recently, she sent me several links to videos about the afterlife. She said she was ready to make the transition. I miss her tremendously. Often late at night, she and I would email each other to talk about our day.

Thanks for saying that, Tom. It's good that she felt ready and felt the Lord's peace. Still, it's so hard to say goodbye to her. She was saying goodbye for the last few months. I didn't want to accept it.
