God bless you all - in the family - it is always hard to lose your mother - even if she is ready to go, has been sick so long. I will pray for your tears - may you relive many memories with joy.

I am so, so, so very sorry to read of your mom's passing. I lost my mom on November 11th, 2004. I miss her to this day. It's not something you really ever get over. You just learn to live with it somehow.

Thank you, Katy for sharing this wonderful tribute about your mom. Her poem is amazing and I am so sorry for you loss. My heart goes out to you and your dad, and I am praying for you at this heart wrenching time. May you know God's peace that surpasses all understanding.
I know she IS climbing, running and writing with ease and joy in Heaven. One day you will be reunited never to feel pain or lass again. I know Jesus weeps with you. He hates heath and He loves you all so much. Hugs XX

Katy, you have your mother's talent to write. I thank you for posting this difficult announcement for your mother never went to the severity of her situation. We talked a lot about our medicines and you and your dad and mostly gave each other support. I'm at a loss as you and your dad and relatives are deep in mourning for the amazing and wonderful woman that has passed. But as you have said, she can run and jump and breathe freely now and that is a blessing.
My heart goes out to you, Mark and Katy.
Ps; Katy, i would be honored if you set up the Penguin collection your mom just received only 2 weeks ago, as some kind of display in your shop, to honor your mom. Your mom told me it was called Penguin..... she couldn't remember the last part but she was proud of you and your accomplishment.
Take care of each other and write some time of more happier times. Bless you both

There could probably be no better parting comment on a life not only well lived, but a life that was full on exciting. Blessed with laughter and pain: sunshine and rain. More friends than enemies, some honey from honey bees. If asked I would have to reply to the question of: "would you like more?" with: "Yes, more please."
