Definitely a humorous read and a great entry for this fun contest! My favorite was the one about tickling the toes, feet and knees. Very well done and a definite contender. Good luck in the contest.

Hello Author, I love your Rubber Ducky poem, it's really cute... I think you forgot one element of the Even-the -Odds poetry form though, the first and last words need to be synonyms. Perhaps you still have time to fix it for the contest! :)

Oops, thank you for that. Do you know if the first line has to be a one word synonym?

Only one person to really ask... Y.M. Roger She invented the poem! You can always send her an IM, she'll have no idea you're in the contest. Just ask her the general question. :)

I think this is a good Rubber Ducky Even The Odds writing prompt entry.
This well rhymed verse describes the yellow rubber ducky very well.
I wish you good luck with the contest.

Aww... that's such a cute, wonderfully written poem. It makes the reader feel all warm and fuzzy. Also, I love the fact that you chose this as the topic of your poem because it sure sounds like a unique idea to me.

Thanks for your review. I'd never heard of that poetry either, it took a bit of syllable counting to get it right.

Of all the bath toys ever designed, including Baby Shark, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, Rubber Ducky has to be to most popular of all. The duck was even featured in a song sung by Ernie of Sesame Street and as a prop in Blazing Saddles. Most certainly worthy of a poem

I really enjoyed reading this. The picture choice was excellent as well. I love the playful language you used and love the way this sounds when it is read out loud. I wish you luck in the contest!

What a cute poem. a fun little read. It's very well-written, interesting, vivid imagery. Your great word choice takes the reader back to when they were little, back to bath time with their kids. I didn't realize that the rubber duck has been around for so long. Great use of a writing prompt.

Everyone needs a rubber ducky. It's a childhood classic. It made me smile and start singing the rubber ducky song. A song that you can never forget. Great job
