Thank goodness for the advances in vision surgery that allow people to regain their vision and enjoy the sights around them. It sounds like you put up with a lot before it happened. I am happy to hear you can see so much better now.

Wow what an interesting true story told first poetically and then additional notes at the end -the final line states it beautifully after the long vision journey - thanks for sharing this inspiring slice of life

I really like this poem. It's quite an interesting approach to the topic. All in all, I think that this is a well-written poem that is also fun to read. Also, I like the image you chose for this one.

Thanks for sharing this poem about growing up with terrible vision and suffering because of it. I hate it when people act that way. Thanks for turning it around and encouraging other people with your creativity and service. Bill
