Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

I'm so sorry you are going through this. You're in my thoughts everyday and I pray for you and your family. I can't imagine how you are handling all this, but reading your post gives me an idea of what you've had to deal with. At least you have your faith. That will keep you strong. Your family sounds like they are gathering together to give your dad strength. I believe writing about this is helping you sort out your emotions. May God look over you and your dad.

Always your friend and fan,
Shana :)

Thank you for your kind and comforting words! Thank you, too, for the 6 stars. This is the hardest thing to date, that I've had to go through. Yes, writing this, surprisingly, is helping me. I appreciate you so much and your prayers. Hugs

Hi Rebecca, I'm there with you and unfortunately, I know exactly the emotions you're going through right now. It's difficult and it hurts so much. I'm glad that you can put this down in writing to deal with it. I wish I could have done the same when I was 15 and in the same position. Keep writing. All best from your friend, Ulla xx

OH Ulla. You have my sympathy. I just didn't know what people went through until I experienced it myself. I don't know how you handled it at such a young age. Thank you for your kind review and shiny 5 stars. It means a lot! Thank you for your prayers. Hugs

My son in law's dad is going through a similar situation. A retired pastor himself, short term memory, diabetic and with heart problems. I thought of that song, "islands in the stream", not quite the same theme. I know the prophetic very well, I knew when people would resign, when churches were being closed down, but good things as well. Elaine and I've lost both our parents, friends, a brother. Well acquainted with grief. Loved this, well done, blessing, Roy
Typo : I still (caledl) called? 2: Daddy, a (retied) Pastor. Retired? 3: rutienly filled in. routinely?

The void can be a challange but to know he is with Christ gives strength. He has earned rewards and keeping here deprives the moments with Christ. It will all work out. My blessings to you.

Plain and simply put...this is great stuff! I'm sorry for this path of grief you are going through. I found healing through writing poetry and also writing prayers to God.
Blessings on your journey and bravo for following your gut or Gods leading to write this to help yourself and others.
