A very well-written hundred-word flash fiction, a little humor to start the New year on a good note. I love to look at snowy mountains and frozen waterfalls in summer, it cools me down immediately. Lol.

Wow... was he lucky?
I enjoy flash fiction stories. They require the reader to not only pay attention to what IS BEING SAID, but to notice what is NOT being said so that the story becomes a complete work.

I do hope she kept the tickets, Yvette! I surely would have... then, I would have found the cutest pool boy in town and asked him if he wanted a free trip to Tahiti. I'd tell him that if he'd play it up on this end and get his own room while he was there, he could fly for free. Just so long as the hubby is pissed off, I could care less. ;) A fun story my Southern Sister! :)
