The fires have been horrendous. I can't imagine the trauma of losing everything you own. And it's not just one or two affected; it's hundreds. I echo your sentiments.

Judy, I agree with you. I don't know how I'd cope at seventy having to start all over again. But these helpers really are amazing

Firemen from the US are headed there to help. It is very sad. Fire has done so much damage this year around the world and much of it because of no forest maintenance. We are praying it rains soon and aids the effort to stop the flames. Well done poem. Rox
