This was a fabulous list poem including all kinds of yummy desserts. I had to look up one word, profiterole, in spite of watching several seasons of European baking shows. I think the flaky, warm pies, fragrant and sweet did me in, and spun candy bridges over those chocolate streams brought in some unique imagery, too. Super entry!

I love those cooking shows. Profiteroles might be a Canadian thing haha. Lovely at Christmas, you stack these airly little puff balls filled with whipped cream in a stack then cover with spun sugar. very pretty. Thanks for the review.

This is a terrific entry for this contest. You lose points, though for making me hungry and adding on pounds! Well, not really, but you described everything so deftly, I definitely need dessert! Really lyrical with delicious imagery. A contender for sure. Good luck.

Perhaps you overslept and missed your exercise. Perhaps you only dreamt you gained seven pounds. I know the Catholics think that dreaming osin is as bad as actually sinning so maybe the same applies to sugar.
