This is a lovely sonnet, Rod! And scientists now say that there is measurable mental health benefits to being in nature just as you described - a sense of peace. I liked the "talks with trout, worries fleeing like dandelion fluff and the leaf boats."

Your Barbara Ann sonnet is beautifully written and offers up some stunning visuals for the minds eye to enjoy. It has an almost magical feel to it, a special place that can calm the mind and soul has to have a touch of magic to it... loved it!

"My piece is found in lazy mountain streams" this takes me back and as I was reading this I could imagine myself on a blanket sitting along the stream in the picture, it is so tranquil, so vivid I feel as 5hough I can hear the soft flow of the water just from reading your words, ah.
