This is a very sad but realistic poem, which makes it all the more heart rendering. I'm stuck on the 450 kids killed annually by patents. Alone your poem is good, but with the stats, its valuable. Great work!

Very sad and touching. We live in an uncertain world. This is the pain and toture that some girl children go through in the hands of pervert dads when their mums are not anywhere close by. Good job.

Yes, it's very very common and unfortunately to a degree.
That the wife is controlled by the husband and won't accept it.
    Accept her child's being abused!
Something she Harvested for Nine Long Months!
    He did virtually nothing!
And, the child winds up confused and mentally ill.

Ricky... what a dreadful place for your mind to have lingered long enough to have to write this poem! Yes, it is horribly sad what some parents can do to their children. Unfortunately, it's nothing new. I expect that it's been this way throughout the reaches of history. Why are the numbers so large now? We haven't had so many people on the planet before. I fully expect the proportions are most likely the same. People have always been largely the same, fortunately, or not... depending on how you look at it. The question then remains, are you a glass-half-full kind of guy? or a glass-half-empty kind of guy?

If you ask that to an abusive alcoholic your last question?
He would say half a glass is never enough!
    Hand me another b****!
    Thanks,
And, it wasn't that my mind was in the gutter that day.
More like a concern for what happened and is virtually ignored today.
God knows I know what it's like to lose a child from circumstances Beyond My control.
But this shit has to stop!
    Can you say castration?
    Thanks,

It had nothing to do with alcohol... just optimism. This shit has always had to stop. But humanity is what humanity is and you can't control the human condition. There are too many people on the planet for that at this point. Deranged, sick, disgusting, people who do unthinkable things are just part of the world we live in. The fact is, they always have been. It's just that with social media being what it is, it's very 'in your face' now, along with everything else. :(

This was intense, and sad to read, because it reads as if it can be true, i did not notice any errors in the work and children are fragile , i wish children could be saved from the people who cannot handle the stressors of parenthood,

I feel I went pretty gentle with this toothpaste on children abuse and eventual death.
I'm sure there are some real life stories that would put my fictional piece to shame.

The true tragedy of lost childhood is it can never be regained.
Cruelty to children is such a heinous crime.
Thank you for sharing this post.

Years ago I heard a story had happened in a Amish community in Pennsylvania.
as The Story goes this young man who was also college-educated walked into their I guess it would be called a synagogue and shot and killed three children.
I'm not sure what the ages were.
    ...
I do recall that the father of the shooter was devastated!
He asked permission to attend the funerals and he also apologized for his mentally ill son.
This is an example of two different sides of the coin the first side is the negative the sun and the obverse or the upper side is the father or the positive.
we wonder why in this day and age these incidents happen the only thing I can point the finger at his lack of religion with a combination of a thirst for power.
Was a dash of pure evil.

We seem to be living in violent times. I wish I had the answer to end the mayhem.

Liked your poem but it wasn't exactly uplifting. Unfortunately, this is
reality. Kids killed and abused by their parents. The little girl asks a lot
of questions. What is the mother going to do?

If you read my notes it's not just the father that will do this it's also the mother.

You are right lots of kids nowadays are killed by their parents. I always wonder why do you have them if you don't want them? Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.

I guess the most common death to children when it comes to the woman involved would be abortion.
I'm up father and grandfather so I really don't know who does more of the killing them females parents or the male parents?
I learned a lot like I didn't know what that one word Felicity meant.
I always believe that it's the job of both parents to protect their children with their own lives.
Sometimes though if people just don't realize and they shouldn't have children because their children themselves.

Well, Doctor, I have to hand it to you; you express yourself well in the dark. Though your writing is difficult to confront, you call attention to the suffering. Perhaps things will change and more light will find it's the way into challenged lives. Best Regards.

Is it true your job of the parent to create two children?
And is it truly a job at a parents to protect the children?
Nobody forces to human beings to propagate, complicate,
    Recreate.
sometimes it's done by two young people that don't understand the consequences and then hence an abortion instead of an adoption?
I've had two previous reviews and one of my questions is who actually does murdered the children the male or female parent?
    Thanks,

I think this is the shortest poem of yours that I have read. I like your notes down at the end, my takeaway is do better unto others than they do to you. Very nice job.
