"Casting my line into the current's clutch", I love that line. This is a great picture painting, through words of the glories of fly fishing and what makes it so popular. I've never tried it, but it sounds heavenly. God surely blesses your writes.

Don, I do enjoy the challenge of selecting the right fly, the right water, the backwater flow, the exercise and and out of door nature and most often it is a very individual sport that allows for grat amounts of quite time.

The imagery presented in your Rondel is sound and descriptive. I feel as if I, too, am fly-fishing along with you.
Some considerations regarding punctuation:
Casting my line into the currents (current's) clutch
My soul relishes the tranquil breeze of the morn.
The crescendo of nearby falls cross boulder's (boulders) worn (;)
doesn't cause my fly to quake too much.
Fishing line over the eddies flow in my gentle touch
as I watch closely along the bank for a new hatch born.
Casting my line into the currents (current's) clutch
My soul relishes the tranquil breeze of the morn.
I will never tire of the relentless pursuit of fishing much
As I gaze over yonder at a fawn chewing buckthorn, (;) or (.)
out of the shadows, I see the buck watching over his newborn
while the tug on my line, (omit comma) I swoon over, has my attentive soft touch.
Casting my line into the currents (current's) clutch.

I enjoyed reading your rondel form poem. I am not familiar with this form but I enjoyed reading about your fishing experience. I prefer a nice lure and fishing in the surf myself. Your fly fishing takes a lot more skill and patience.

Ulla, thank you. I do fly-fish with some frequency, it is a place for my words to percolate while enjoying nature at it's best.
