Holy Toledo, Sally!
That 6000.00 bill would cure anything that ails me; that is for certain! And all because of cookie consumption? Too funny!
Your antagonist is a hoot as well!
I enjoyed your flash fiction... Now...I'm off to find a Christmas cookie!

Take Care!

Ah, I knew the cookie lovers would step forward. I'm glad you enjoyed my sillest to date contest entry, Diane. It is so appreciated.

What a very fun story... and perfect for the 75 word prompt. I liked how the sum total of all that advice shook the caller awake. Compared to a $6000 bill, a few extra cookie pounds does not seem that important. Loved this humorous write, Sally. :)

Oh, this was just so silly I can hardly believe I wrote it. Too late. I'm done for. Thanks for loving me anyway,

A very well-written seventy five word flash fiction about a crisis centre that lures people to phone them to talk about their crisis just to find they charge you per minute. The advertisement of the devil is always attractive and misleading.

The devil is always at it, isn't he? I'm glad you enjoyed my satire and contest entry for the flash.

LOL!! :) Well, at least it was only cash and not your immortal soul... :) :) What a fun offering for the contest, my lady - unexpected and 'shocking' in a fun way! ;) Best of luck in the contest! ;) Yvette

I think I would be instantly cured too! This is a great entry for the 75 words flash fiction competition. I didn't pick up any errors and can't make any suggestions that would improve it. Good luck.

Once again, you took me on quite a journey I didn't expect. I was sure the speaker was calling a dating hot-line, or something like it. Then it was maybe a crisis intervention suicide line?
What a whopper ending. When Beelzibub showed up, what?!
All that money for a cookie too much. Shows what sin can do 'ya!

Yes, sin is costly and so is help from the wrong sources. So glad you enjoyed my short satire. I love to poke fun at my human weaknesses.

Hahaha :) The rub's in the bub. Delightful short fiction Sally. Although it left me wondering, how on earth could you possibly speak for 60 minutes on eating cookies. Best wishes for the contest.

Dear Sally,
Beware the honeyed words of SIN
I'm glad you never got sucked in
But then, if you like Xmas cheer,
Go for it. I'll not interfere.
Regards
Reg

You are so creative! I had no clue where this poem was going, but it really went somewhere unexpected. I love all the dialogue. The characters are writing the story with their dialogue. It was all very smooth, which I find hard to do with dialogue.
Beelzebub is very greedy!

If we write not just what we
know but what we are and feel,
    then we are trusting the

wonderful that we can be so
    open. You're awesome and talented

Well, sally, you had me believing that this was about a 'real' crisis as in abuse etc. I liked the twist at the end. You did a great job. Thanks for sharing and best wishes. Respectfully with Love, Jan
