The shadows of the holidays seems to loom large for those that have lost greatly... the mask we hide behind throughout the year becomes to heavy to hide the small tears we hold back... tears that hold all the sorrow we choose not to show the world.. You know I lost my son and my wife but I have four daughters.
I always hang out basically with my youngest and her son. So, I spent Christmas Eve and enjoyed the Christmas morning opening.

We often bear the tears of loss within and even if they are not shed outwardly, they are felt deep within our hearts. Over time we learn to mask our fears and sorrow on the outside, but inside we are sometimes haunted by the tragedies we have suffered, I could identify with your words, love Dolly x
