Hello Ricky1024
Your poem has an important message saying that we should be happy that we all have the gift of life. Even when one has memories of making a final decision like you did.

Can you imagine you're not even 50 years old when somebody tells you that you can make a decision to have your child diced and sliced and donated to strangers across the United States?
and when I look back at it in the letters I received from the recipients I would never have changed it for a second and I don't think my son would have either.
Thank,
Ricky

Wow -- certainly a bold accusation to put before God that it is His 'job' to resurrect... Definitely a very thought-provoking offering for the day... :/

Yeah. If you reread the post you'll see that before that statement. I take the blame as it was my job to protect.
But the resurrection deal was in the hands of God because...
Just because your child didn't die in a car accident...
It doesn't mean that the surgeries will be successful.
And, removing the many organs...
And then successfully being placed appropriately...
(Within the donors and save their lives)
That's up to God.

It was nice of you to do that to give others a chance despite your loss. I'm sure they took their second chance and made good use of it. I'd like to think they did. I did the same when my daughter passed. Your poem is well-written. Your great word-choice lets the reader feel your pain, heartache, sorrow. Your struggle with your final decision.

I've received in 17 years mostly in the beginning only six letters three from chas receive Jason's Martin longs and three from Bill who received one of his kidneys.
all the letters were touching and very graciously written and grateful for their gifts.
the little girl who received one of Jason's kidneys and now full grown woman I like to consider her my fifth order for the gift that's within her she has never responded to any of my two letters.
The man from Philadelphia to receive Jason delivered never responded we're never even wrote I should say he lived eight years.
Until I receive contact from Lara from The Gift of Life in Philadelphia I will be led to believe that all the other three are still continuing I also received confirmation that all three are off rejection medications.
Thanks,
Well posted.
