I can relate, yet I think that keeping a positive mindset, a balanced perspective (as hard as it is sometimes) goes a long way towards comforting us, even when pain is chronic. Your poem inspires. Good luck in the contest.

You've taken this contest challenge and written a superb diatelle. Not only that, you have incorporated a clever rhyme to it as well! That is not easy with this style, but master it, you have indeed. Well done and good luck in the contest. :)) Sandra xx

Hello mystery writer. Your picture is a little disturbing. I found your poem quite interesting. As we age, pain becomes a companion not a stranger. Sometimes it's tough to deal with as you have expressed. Good luck in the contest.

I "feel" your poetry. Having started at the gym again, I have come to realize I am no longer the young man of yesteryear. The constant question of, "was that joint supposed to make that sound?"
Very well written. Best of luck

This poem is about aging and taking it in stride. Trying to stay active to stay young is good advice. Staying away from medication as long as possible is a great idea too.
Good luck and keep writing
Happy New Year.

You worked quite hard in your effort to conform to the strictures of this complicated form. If the committee requires you to correct errors, it most likely will be very difficult to do.
Good luck,
Don

Well this form certainly has a rhyme scheme that takes a minute to focus on. lol. Just the thing to keep one's mind off aches and pains. The fingers on the chalkboard did the trick of drawing my attention.

Very good diatelle author and I wish you great luck in the voting booth with this gem. :))
