It seems as though everyone has a remedy for every ailment including bones and pain. 700 club has something interesting about building a better gut. I am trying it and it seems to work.

Sound like a losing battle, surrendering you to an at ease living style harmful to your health. Too comfortable in my opinion, needing also to apply myself to exercising to resolve my own issues. All stated in my opinion.

TPAC, I am committing to start off increasing my walking distance an additional mile (3 total) to add 1/2 mile every other month so at the end of 2020, I will be averaging 5.5 miles a day five x week!

I must admit the aching bones title drew me in as mine have been giving me curry of late. Well told of your strive to get on top of the aches in this Diatelle form.
cheers and good luck in the contest.

Your Diatelle poem is really well done. You've made it rhyme with good word choices. The image is perfect. You've described what we all know--ageing isn't for the faint of heart. I particularly like:
"I take the aches in stride
loving with zing
with my pride
inside!"
Best of luck in the contest. Marilyn

Boy, what a challenging form! And one I've never tried. I hear great perfect rhymes, and I like this line: The gym, it will be my last fling! I think it will impress readers for that diatelle prompt. Worthy share!

A really well written diatelle with perfect syllable count and set rhyme.
I have not tried one of these. It looks challenging but could be fun.

Well done.
Blessings and Happy New Year.
Janet

I know, these new aches and pains are no fun. Guess we just have to live with them. I, for one, refuse to take a pill for every tinge. Resides doesn't need the apostrophe. They're for possessives or contractions. Good luck in the contest.

Boy can I relate - my aching bones and muscles and joints. And they do not let up. One just keeps moving, keeps going. Good poem to lament this situation.
