Hi Jim. Love your poem written in rhyming couplets. The club couldn't let Christmas pass without a poem about Santa.
These two are my favorite:
"Saint Nick checks his list, not wanting to forget even the smallest request,
Making certain for the naughty they get, perhaps, not what they guessed.
But for the nice, Saint Nick will be sure that under the tree is a treasure
every child for the whole year imagined and prayed for by every measure."

Hi Sally, thank you for our new connection. Yes, I write everyday. I explore new poetic style and I made a personal commitment, when I retired I wold do what I have been putting off throughout my whole career write and then write some more.

I have a rare blimess that is taking my eyesight,so I write every day and store it for the future. I have just a little sight left and it seems to be just enough to do what I need to get my reviews and postings finished every day. I write for at least a solid hour or two every day without fail. Sal :)

Sally, OMG! I am so, so sorry to read this. Losing my sight has been one of my gravest concerns. I had to have aggressive cataracts treated with new lenses 10 years ago. I do hope that you are learning braille? Blessings and prayers are sent in abundance!

I have advanced retinitis pigmentosa as well as cataracts. My eye doctor made the wise decision not to remove my cataracts since there is the chance to lose the small amount of eyesight I have remaining. Thank Yu our for your prayers. God has removed my eyesight and handed me a pen it seems. :)
