We all seem to know what is needed but we don't act on our
knowledge too often. Yes our leaders aren't being good
role models right now.

I think it starts not necessarily from the leaders, in my view they appear to be just as lost as the general populace, it does exist, I stopped drinking, smoking and gambling when God told me to stop, it's a terrifying thing not knowing what comes after death, nothingness, judgement or redemption? Nobody has come back to say, only one...Jesus Christ. Beautifully written, change starts with oneself, nobody else. Blessings, Roy

Excellent poem friend, Jay. I think it's just too crowded and noisy right now to hear the voice of reason.
That said, there is never any time to noisy or busy to show kindness and empathy. Compassion seems a rare gem and sadly, we can no longer look to our leaders to make the call.

This really resonates with the current situation in all countries at present. I suppose it might be much worse in the dictatorships, but even in our so-called democracies, the leaders are so out of touch. An excellent write.
