A very well-written Christmas poem and a humorous sketch of what is going on in the Claus household around Christmas time. Santa has a hard time to keep Mrs happy as well as all the worldlings.

This is a wonderful limerick for Christmas! It humanizes Mr. and Mrs. Santa in a fun and recognizable way. And the elves on strike! I find so much humor in this, which means you have done your job well. Great artwork, great rhyming, and best of all, GREAT humor. Good luck in the contest!

This is funny, and certainly a duel in verse. It rhymes well... but the meter isn't the one limericks use.Not the ones that I've read, anyway. They go dum DUM dum dum DUM dum dum DUM
dum DUM dum dum DUM dum dum DUM

dum DUM dum dum DUM dum dum DUM

That woman is nothing but trouble;
Elves are on strike; they want double...
then the next three lines are fine.

OMG! I never would have guessed that the Clauses were so 'down to Earth!' I hope you just made that up, or if I hear anything more of the sort, I'll have to keep the grandkids away from places that the old goat frequents, which is just about everywhere!
