This is a very nice post, Dawn. The flowering orchid with the dove inside is extra special as well as the hymn sung in soprano voice. Is that what you sing in choir? I'm in the soprano section, too. Marilyn

I agree that it is better to have a heart and cry when we find something beautiful or tender. Sometimes it is the most honest response.
Your verse is beautifully done. Your rhymes are well chosen and your use of enjambment makes the words flow smoothly between lines.
