This story is not for the birds, but for those who will sit for hours listening and looking for said birds. It was a good read. Merry Christmas.

Cute - I like the bird talk. "and sometimes he is flighty" - a bunch of things one could say about a bird watcher - or could he "watch the bikini "birds" on the beaches.
Nice job.

Hello LisaMay. You have gone to the birds now. I can't keep up. Make sure you get a resume from this guy because if he "flies the coop" you will be right back where you started. Robert

I was trying to remember the slang name for bird-watchers and it's twitchers but sources also say it shouldn't be applied to any serious bird-watcher. Something else I've learnt. Thanks for the giggles.

I jay walk sometimes. Thank god i have never been fined. I do believe it varies from state to state though. Anyhow, i truly enjoyed reading this post.
You write well. I couldnt find any grammatical errors at all.

Names with bird-like origins make up the characters here. A guy with eagle eyes but is still gullible sure makes for an interesting contrast. This is a spec-scapular entry!

Great job on this fun write, Lisa. Clever play on birdie words. I especially like eggsactly and feathermore. I admire your creativity with these amusing views into love. Marilyn

I'm sure Avis won't find him so "ducky" if he keeps getting "robined." Another fun one, LisaMay and birders are a devoted lot. I can't imagine the hours they put in trying to find a rare bird.

He's not eggsactly rich - scammers make swift work of robin him; he's very gullible. And I love the use of feathermore. Once again, a winner. How about a cowboy?
