This is a short and sweet poem with great sentiment but my honest thoughts were to extend the idea in more than just a few words. Describe how much deeply the singer meant to you. With stronger imagery. I think if you do that you will greatly improve your writing. I must be honest or I do not do my job as a reviewer. Best wishes

I do take note of your serious comments about extending the idea. (I am pleased that you do take your reviewer status seriously.) However, my forte is only with 5-7-5 syllables. You have my permission to take your own idea and extend it into a longer verse that you compose (-:
