The narrative storylined versification of this six lined poem gives the reader a limpid image through each verse of what effectively had happened at Pearl's Habor. Its structure is well fitted to the given 4/4/5/5/6/6 scheme writing prompt entry contest. Great work.

I always select what is necessary for your sake and where you need more, my dear friend of mine. I have excluded all my works on Fanstory because I have edited Alcheringa, so you can give a glance to the whole book if you like. I am still translating the Italian edition which is on the site too but part of it is in Italian. Cheers with a glass of Aglianico which is local very good wine. Cheers.Blessings Tony

This is a very good poem to remember the bombing of Pearl Harbor by the Japanese and brought us into WWII. Good words within a short piece. Best of luck in the contest. Marilyn

I like this and the powerful message conveyed in it. We should never forget moments in history like this. A price was paid for what we freely enjoy today. Thank for sharing this well written work. Well done!

This six-line poem, December 7, 1941, has the required lines, with an AABBCC rhyme scheme, and brings the readers back to the day that will live in infamy.

A tragic point in American history that brought the nation into the World War that they tried their best to keep out of. We have a lot to thank the Americans for as they supported Britain when they joined forces with us. A pivotal moment in history, a tragic and dastardly attack on a peaceful nation that changed everything. I enjoyed your words here. Love Dolly x

This is an excellent entry for the six line poem contest. The poem has a really nice flow and rhyme, but it also tells a story about a historical event. Great job!

Powerful and compelling read. Good art choice. Makes me feel the terror you talk about in the well-crafted 6 lines! It is a compact expression of that horrible attack.

A very well-written six-line poem about the historic event that took place on 7' December at Pearl Harbor a horrific event that survivors will never forget in their life.
