    Thank you for the thumbs up ..maybe paws up too...if only the lion could vote (biggrin)..how I miss the emojis.

    I did try to tackle this contest from a fresh angle...and I did make two lines rhyme ... (smile).

This is a good entry for the 575 contest. You have successfully used the correct syllable count. Very well written. I like your choice of a lion. Great job and thank you for sharing.

    I wanted to find a take not so obvious and I though, a lion forked between two large branches in the shade , did that.
