Marvelously done Yvette! This such a beautifully crafted statement(should be used as a template of a boardwalk) this is wonderful with the picture that hides the flowers and lovely table and furniture surrounding it. I love it so much! What imagery what symbolism just marvelous. Bravo Yvette!

It's not just the vertical shades. It's any lines, divisions between windowpanes, support rails on the screen porch. When my husband and I sit together, looking outward, it's amazing how often were not seeing the same thing!

Great job with this 575 poem using the metaphor of vertical blinds distorting our view just as prejudice distorts our view of people. Of course, sometimes blinds are good to block your dog from seeing things outside because they cause him to go crazy barking.
