CIAO POET: If I didn't know that you wrote this witty ditty...I would think that I wrote it. Talk about two people being on the same page. By the time I got my, "Tough, wake up call." I was a parent. Realizing just how clever I am not...shows me just how clever my son is. Compared to me he is a smart kid. I'm not a know it all...but I know what makes a lofty head fall. It's what I learned from my, "tough," wake up call. He who thinks that he knows everything...doesn't give himself a chance to know anything at all. "God bless you, poet. Ciao. Cordially: rhonnie69.

I don't know if everyone actually recalls that moment of realisation.. I did and it was quite unsettling ..
Thank you for reviewing my poem.

Oh, yes, that startling realization--that parents are not all-knowing--comes to everyone. At least, children can believe this when they NEED to. You have excellent use of all of your syllables in this naani!

When I counted the syllables I was stunned that they were exactly 25 ( biggrin).
I think the theme is relatable ..not everyone might remember clearly when that moment of realisation happened.
Hope you have a peaceful weekend!
