This is a very charming Christmas poem for children (my alliteration was unintentional, but apropos). 'Dreams of Santa Claus' should do well in the Rictameter contest. I plan to enter a poem, too, so good luck to both of us!

Bill, I could not agree more and lesson we still do as a tradition at family Christmas gatherings is read the Christmas Story.

Sandra, you are so very correct there is a "reason for the season" but with eight grand children we still have a few that really think about old St Nick...

Like your festive poem with Santa as the character. Christmas brings the best out of writers. Either we are happy or sad. Today I went shopping for some last minute preparations and found the store really busy.
