Oh, goodie. I love this new one. "Lay in the yeast and not in the west" is a great line. "He made lots of bread" is another good pun here. I can't wait to see more boyfriends! :)

Ha ha ha! This is going to be a great series, I can tell Lisa, you are so good with these clever writes and I shall look forward to reading more of them. This one is inventive and I shall kick off the launch with a big fat six for you, love Dolly x

Very cute and clever. I like the bread puns especially the word mis-cake. This little story put a smile to my face. Great job and thank you for sharing.

So glad this had a happy ending. One can hope there were no crusty looks exchanged, ever, and romance continued to roll. Love the baking puns like tart, mis-cake, bun, rose, loaf, made lots of bread, and yeast. Such flouring love results in such things!

I totally did giggle reading this -- great word play! Favorite line was the last one that opportunity lay "in the yeast, not the west." LOL...Thanks for sharing :-)

It's good that he's a hard-working baker and made lots of "bread!" I pondered the last statement "He reckoned opportunity lay in the yeast, not the west." Is there some phrase ab out opportunity lying the in "east?"
