A very well-written true story flash. We all dream of a little genius that will be part of our family. When we do have that honor we can have some pridevp about having a talented child around.

Thanx so much for your wonderful comments, Sandra - he is my angel and (still!) my most 'challenging' child -- but I love him to the moon! :)
Please forgive my 'running behind' again and 'short response'... as mid-terms close in, my tutoring schedule has ballooned and my 'free time' has all but vanished! Exams are next week so there is a light at the end of the tunnel - LOL! :) A very Merry Christmas to you from my little corner of the world!! ;) Yvette

This little guy is definitely someone a mom SHOULD be bragging about. I enjoyed reading your Author's notes as much as the story. It's a delight to know when a loving person in a family is doing so well. xo

He is adorable. So you were a stage mom. I'm glad that Benjamin kept up his piano and love of music in addition to branching out in other areas. Best of luck in the contest. Marilyn

What a great story and how could any mother not shed tears of pride? Our sons learnt Suzuki violin at a very young age. One is now a professional jazz bassist in Ireland. Good luck with your True Story Flash. I enjoyed it very much.

Don't ever worry about being behind with replies - at least not with me. :)
Thanks for the good wishes and I hope you have a marvellous Christmas too.

Oh, he is adorable. So this is Rufus's daddy? My daughter Ashley was a piano major, but she wasn't performing songs at age 5. Benjamin must have been quite precocious. My favorite part of having children was helping them develop talents. You definitely have reason to brag.
Thanks for sharing Benjamin with us.
