You describe a very tranquil scene in your 5-7-5 poem. Great imagery and very. Well chosen artwork. I wish you lots of luck in the competition. Best wishes. Jen.

Thank you!

Other reviewers noted the play on words with leaves referring both to tree leaves and book leaves. Neat sound sensory references. Nice photo. Super lune! Might also note long 'e' assonance in 'reading' and 'leaves' as emphasized words.

I liked this entry. Your use of "leaves rustle" is closely linked to the delight of turning a page {thumbs up}.
It's a nice poem, and it's nicely presented!
Here's wishing you the best of luck when the contest is judged {smiles}.

This meets the contest requirements splendidly as you deliver a technically sound Lune Poem with correct line and syllable count throughout. The content is clever in its play off the connection between "leaves" and "pages". Good luck in the judging and thank you very much for sharing it.

Your picture perfectly compliments your lune. Easy to visualize the scene where the Speaker sits among the rustling leaves to read. The R-alliteration and S's mimic the rustling leaves. Rod

This lune, Reading in the Park, has the correct format and finds the atmosphere of nature lends realism to the depth one dives in reading. When reading is as natural as summer breeze, life is a walk in the park.

A peaceful moment to read almond the leaves and I enjoyed your lune Lisa, having a quiet moment in the park even though the leaves are noisy! The pages will rustle up a story. Love Dolly x

A typical, everyday Autumn scene became estimable poetry, with some input from an astute observer - the individual responsible for this work I'm reviewing.

Sitting in the park, leaning against a tree, and reading a good book! The breeze is soft against the face, hair whipping in the wind. A heavenly moment for sure!
