I could certainly use some of this warm stuff this morning here in NorthEast Iowa. It's cold, rainy and grey. So I will close my eyes and picture being embraced by warm sunshine. I can see why you scored a win in the contest with this one.

And true it is. Watch those that go out to the sun and first feel the warmth, they seem to wrap their arms around and look up letting the sun hit their face... well, I do. LOL Nice for the contest.

The sentiment in your poem makes me think of John Denver's song "Sunshine on my shoulder makes me happy," the thought of the sun physically touching us. Very nice picture and presentation.

    I remember the song. I used to like singing along to it. I think that maybe deep down inside I was thinking about it when i scribbled out these words.Anyway, really do appreciate the kind review.

I like the silhouette on the distressed rock that you used to set a desert theme. It is true that sunshine is potent and can do all sorts of things. Great little verse for the contest! Good luck.
