This thirty-syllable poem, Her Bronco-ride Lover, has the correct syllable count and makes for a negative love-making comparison when one's bucking ability is short lived.

I enjoyed reading your well-written poem. It flows well with informative information about rodeos. It rhymes well and thank you for providing your author notes. Your artwork choice goes well with your message. Best wishes!

I think this is a cute and funny entry for the 30 Syllables contest.
Your short verse tells a clear cowboy lover story.
Well done and good luck to you with the contest.

Ooh, juicy. I like the humor displayed in this piece. I don't normally blush but you got me. Well done. Hopefully the protagonist finds herself a better companion who can "ride through." Lol

... or get a whole lot of them one after the other so the seconds add up, but the thought of that might make you blush even more!
I appreciate your review, thank you.

Oh I may blush but that doesn't mean I disapprove 😈

Well, 8 seconds sounds like a disappointment in the saddle anywhere but when they pull that gate, yeah??! ;) :) LOL!! ;) A fun offering for this contest - thanx for sharing and best of luck at the polls! ;)

A very well-written thirty word flash fiction about the bronco rider that seems he is not as good with the sport as he pretended to be. He made it for eight seconds inn the saddle.

If you say so, but I get 31 and will leave it to the CEC make the final call. This is clever in its word play and content. Good luck in the voting and thank you very much for sharing it.

Thanks for the syllable check. I put the poem in various online counters and one even said 28 syllables! How can we trust them!! I did another count and you were right (of course), so I dropped a single syllable word.

I'm loving the rhymes here as I felt I was on that gyrating rodeo! But realistically I would never go on one of these machines, or on a real bucking bronco! Far too dangerous! This write is a gem, flows off the tongue and a joy to read, love Dolly x

This is a very clever play on words and very funny. My kind of humour. I love it. Wishing you lots of luck in the 30 syllable competition. Best wishes. Jen.
