What a wonder way to remind us that kindness is the way to go. Cruelty teaches people to be lonely and resentful. They learn to not trust love.
Good luck with the prompt contest

Such a wise sentiment here, Monica. Sadly we are in a culture at the moment that models cruelty as strength and kindness is ridiculed as weak. It really is befuddling, because that fact doesn't seem to be seen.

Excellent words of wisdom here and many thanks for sharing. :)

The poem perfectly fits within the 30 syllables contest required and the beautiful comparison of
its well exposed narrration storyline in verses. Blessings from Italy

Your syllable count is point on. Your well chosen words read like an enlightening proverb. The visual art selection does well to complement your theme.
A well crafted writing prompt entry.

You created some nice contrast here between the hard hand and the soft hand, and we see them at the same time kind of intertwined. You have that soft hand trying to undue what the hard hand is doing. overall there were some nice musical and rhythmic effects in there. estory

The difference between hard hands and soft hands...This is a good topic and you have made the distinction between the two attitudes very clear. All the best for the contest.

This thirty-syllable poem, Teaching Hands, has the correct syllable count and seems to say that lessons pushed onto one are seldom as effective as those wrapped around and discussed.

Good job at this 30 syllable poem! I think it's not as easy as one might think. But you did it! I hope you do well in the contest! Good luck!
